NO Y-SEAMS WITH THIS METHOD!

Never used photos on fabric? It's just not that hard!

Get the fabric sheets from office supply stores or quilt stores and follow their directions.  Print shops will also be helpful if you don't have a personal copier or photo editing skills.  I have heard that pima inks cured several weeks provide exceptional long term results.  I just used my own ink jet copier and the directions that came with the fabric sheets.  So far no problems.  This is not something that is washed often.

Fits pillows 14" with border flange or 20" without. Use with or without binding or quilting.  

The direction diagrams guide you to avoid any y-seams!

The star tips float.  The bias trim helps complete the circle. Then the applique is stitched onto the background fabric by hand or machine.  The background fabric underneath can be removed.  Any remaining "biasy bulge" is usually filled nicely by the pillow insert! 

If you like, you can just make the star without the light background and bias trim.  Follow directions for no y-seaming, then machine applique to the darker background, or a background with better contrast.  

A simple overlapped back closure completes the case, no buttons or zippers required.
